The Ninth Gate (1999)

Dean Corso, a rare books dealer, is hired to locate a book that was allegedly written in the 17th century in collaboration with the devil. Corso sets off on a trip around Europe in search of the authentic book, but the search turns dangerous and even deadly. Soon Corso is enmeshed in a dark supernatural web of conspiracy and the occult.
