Timber Falls (2007)

In the scenic beauty of West Virginia, Mike and his girlfriend Sheryl, both nature enthusiasts from Virginia, set out to explore the captivating wilderness of Lake Kimbrabow State Park. Eager for a weekend of hiking and camping, they seek guidance from a local guard, receiving two options: the path of the Donner Trail or the Willow Creek Bridge. However, their plans take an unexpected turn when they cross paths with Ida Forester, a native who entices them with the breathtaking allure of Timber Falls, showcasing its charming landscapes and majestic waterfall. But Timber Falls harbors more than just picturesque beauty. The couple encounters an unsettling trio of miscreants - Brody, Darryl, and Lonnie, causing Sheryl to persuade Mike to discard the bullets from his revolver. The pair set up camp, basking in the tranquility of the wilderness, unaware of the looming peril. The next morning, while Sheryl is enjoying a serene bath in a nearby lake, she mysteriously vanishes, leaving Mike in a state of desperation. His frantic search for Sheryl leads him into the heart of the wilderness where he uncovers a chilling revelation - a fanatic religious family with a disturbing agenda. The couple unwittingly becomes part of a horrifying plan, in which they are needed to carry on the family’s lineage. This tranquil getaway quickly devolves into a pulse-pounding struggle for survival in the haunting depths of Timber Falls.
