Plot

In a tale spun from folklore and whimsy, "Three Wise Fools" unfolds four decades after the ambitious trio, Richard, James, and Theodore, inadvertently offended 'The O'Monahan', prompting him to cast an enigmatic blessing that guided them to their dreams of splendor. Now, they coexist in an opulent mansion, bound by bachelorhood. Unexpectedly, their grand routine is disrupted by the arrival of a 7-year-old, Sheila, who steps into their lives with a plea for guardianship. Initially, the trio dismisses her, unwilling to disrupt their solitary existence. However, the plot thickens when they discover Sheila is an heiress to a property they covet. The men scheme to maneuver themselves into her life, inviting her and her companion, O'Davern, to reside with them. All this is done with the ulterior motive of acquiring Sheila's property, intending to bestow it upon the University in their names, securing their legacy for posterity. Yet, their plan hits an unexpected snag. Sheila is unable to sell the property due to the mysterious influence of the 'little people.' The unfolding story is a captivating blend of ambition, greed, innocence, and the enchanting influence of folklore that binds them all together.
