Devastated by the sudden death of her daughter Maria, Carmen stumbles upon a life-altering revelation in her daughter's apartment: Maria was on the brink of adopting a Vietnamese girl named Thi Mai. Fueled by a resolve to fulfill her daughter's wish, Carmen, along with her two companions Elvira and Rosa, embarks on an unprecedented journey outside the borders of Spain and into the heart of Vietnam. Their quest to find Thi Mai takes them on a rollercoaster ride of emotions, with uproarious misadventures born from cultural clashes and language barriers. Guided by the resourceful Dan, a local Vietnamese, and accompanied by Andrés, a Spanish actor relocating to Hanoi for love, the trio navigates through the chaotic yet charming streets of Vietnam.
