Plot

"Boses" (Voices) delves into the transformative journey of Ariel, a compassionate musician, who ventures into the shanty towns to impart violin lessons to a young, mute boy, Onyok. Stricken by a life of abuse and silence, Onyok finds solace and a means of expression through the soothing strings of the violin. A tender bond of friendship blossoms between Ariel and his student, fueled by their shared passion for music. Behind the quiet facade of Onyok, Ariel uncovers a trove of untapped talent, a voice silenced by the callous cruelty of an unloving father. As their relationship unfolds through the rhythm of their violin sessions, Ariel and Onyok gradually peel back layers of their own vulnerabilities, revealing aspects of their lives that might have otherwise remained cloaked in silence. Through the evocative language of music, the duo navigates their shared struggles and triumphs, discovering and embracing each other's strengths and weaknesses. "Boses" is a poignant narrative of resilience, redemption, and the power of music to heal and give voice to the voiceless.
