Brimstone (2016)

Set in the Old West, Liz is a mute woman who is happily married and raising two children. Her role as a midwife is fulfilling and a boon to her community. But when the local church hires a new preacher, Liz immediately gets an uncanny sense that danger has arrived among them. The new preacher is a demented zealot with a violent streak. Things really get complicated when Liz is forced to kill a baby during a birthing to save the mother. It sets up a terrifying series of events between the unhinged holy man and the righteous prairie mother.
