Rock Dog (2016)

Bodi is a Tibetan mastiff, but while the young dog's family wants him to follow in the trade of being a warrior who protects the community, he has other ambitions altogether — to be recognized as a rock star. When a boombox falls into his hands, he finds himself in possession of forbidden contraband. His family has forbidden music to keep him from being distracted from his martial arts studies, but he doesn't have forever to learn these skills. He's struggled to learn some of the more advanced techniques, but the gray wolf gangsters who have been skulking in the shadows aren't going to go easy on him.
