In the enigmatic world of body art, American tattooist Jake Sawyer is a roving artist, traveling the globe to explore and exploit various ethnic themes in his designs. His journey takes him to the vibrant city of Singapore, where he is drawn into the rich, exotic universe of traditional Samoan tattooing - a world teeming with age-old rituals and intricate designs. However, Jake's curiosity soon tips into recklessness. He pilfers a sacred tool belonging to the Samoan family of his acquaintance, the captivating Sina, thus unwittingly stirring up an ancient and powerful spirit.
