In the savage abyss of a Kosovo prison, battle-hardened mercenary Karl Thomasson, along with his friend Macy and a resilient Albanian girl, endure a gruesome ordeal. When Macy succumbs to the violent treatment, his final wish is for Karl to deliver a medal to his estranged daughter, Nicole Stewart, an English professor at Eastern Atlantic University on Long Island, New York. Following a daring escape, Karl fulfills Macy's final request, presenting the medal to Nicole, who harbors mixed feelings due to her father's frequent military absences. However, this reunion is marred by tragedy as Nicole is savagely attacked soon after Karl's visit. Overcome with a sense of duty, Karl enlists the help of his mercenary comrades, Ed Lincoln and Rahmel, and together they infiltrate the academic stronghold, posing as Nicole's substitute under a fictitious alias. Another member of their battle-worn crew, Andy, joins them, launching a covert investigation into the brutal assault.
