Plot

In the heart-pounding thrill-ride of The Silk Express, Neil Hamilton finds himself ensnared in a web of deceit and murder, woven with threads of coveted silk. He stars alongside Sheila Terry and Guy Kibbee, navigating treacherous tracks of intrigue and danger. Amid the soaring demand for raw silk, unscrupulous entrepreneur Wallace Myton (Arthur Hohl) seizes the market, scheming to inflate the price to sky-high levels. Committed to meeting his obligations, silk manufacturer Donald Kilgore (Hamilton) procures a staggering $3 million worth of silk, transporting it from Seattle to New York via a special train. However, this journey of a lifetime turns into a ride of terror when his secretary is discovered dead. Kilgore soon unravels Myton's deadly plot, discovering that three assassins have been clandestinely planted on board the express, their mission being to halt the train—and its passengers’ lives—in their tracks. As the train barrels towards its destination, Kilgore must outwit these killers, in a chilling race against time. This high-stakes game of survival keeps the audience on the edge of their seats, their hearts pounding in rhythm with the relentless chug of the Silk Express.
