James and the Giant Peach (1996)

Orphan James dreams of escaping from his two tyrannical aunts. When he encounters a strange old man who gives him a sack full of magic beans, he thinks his dreams might be within reach. Unfortunately, he spills the sack, causing all the beans to disappear into the ground. The next day, a peach begins to grow on the long-dormant tree outside the aunts' house. Within days, it's grown to an enormous size--and as James soon learns, so have the insects who dwell nearby. Together with his new friends, James uses the giant peach to break free and start a new life.
