Plot

Patrick, a journalist with a knack for uncovering the peculiar, navigates the world of VICE, a company that thrives on bizarre news. His life takes an unexpected turn when his sister Caroline embraces a new destiny within an enigmatic community, settling in an undisclosed country. Driven by familial ties, Patrick, along with his comrades Jake and Sam, brave the unknown as they embark on a journey to visit Caroline. Upon their arrival, they are welcomed by armed guides: a disconcerting sight that sends ripples of unease through the trio. As they delve deeper into Eden Parish, they discover a seemingly utopian community, led by the charismatic yet elusive Father. The Parish residents appear to live in harmony, their faces etched with joy and their faith unwavering. However, beneath the surface of this idyllic sanctuary, shadows of discontent begin to emerge. Patrick, Sam, and Jake find themselves drawn into the complexities of this self-contained world, their journalistic instincts unearthing unsettling truths. As they interview the enigmatic Father, they realize the euphoria that blankets Eden Parish is but a façade, concealing a reality far darker than they imagined. Trapped in this seemingly paradisiacal commune, they yearn for escape. However, the Father's intentions prove sinister, binding them to Eden Parish. As the veneer of paradise crumbles, they must navigate a labyrinth of deceit, faith, and power, questioning the very nature of the community they have stumbled upon.
