The Rift (2016)

In the quiet isolation of Eastern Serbia, a hush falls over a small village perched on the edge of the forest, as an American military satellite mysteriously disappears from the skies, leaving behind only a cryptic trail. An elite team of U.S. and Serbian agents is assembled and urgently dispatched to secure the remains of the lost satellite. Their mission, however, takes a chilling turn when they arrive at the eerily silent crash site. It's evident that the satellite brought back more than just data from its journey through the cosmos. Something alien, something beyond human comprehension, has returned from the vast expanse of space, its presence lurking in the shadows of the quaint hamlet. As time runs scarce, the team is thrown into a frenzied race against the clock. They find themselves entangled in a desperate struggle to decipher the haunting truth behind the doomed mission. In the face of the unknown, they must battle not just for their survival, but for the fate of humanity itself, as they confront an entity that doesn't belong to this world. This is a tale of eerie suspense, where every second counts, and the most terrifying mysteries often lie beyond the stars.
