As if under an enchantment, Tae-soo becomes obsessively drawn to the shoes, a peculiar fascination that seems to infect anyone who lays eyes on them with a potent cocktail of greed and envy.
However, these are no ordinary shoes. Their presence triggers a series of ghostly apparitions and blood-soaked nightmares that plague Sun-jae. The eerie occurrences escalate when her friend, Kim-mi Hee, surreptitiously swipes the shoes, only to meet a gruesome and untimely end. Amid the chaos, Sun-jae finds a confidant in Cho-in Choi, a charismatic architect decorator she's recently started dating. His curiosity piqued, Choi delves into the mystery surrounding the shoes, revealing a connection to a hauntingly beautiful photograph from 1944.
As Choi peels back layers of the past, the tragic destiny of the shoes' original owner unravels, suggesting a curse that dooms all who dare to possess the crimson footwear.
