Plot

In an unsettling dance of primal associations and modern betrayals, we are thrust into a chilling tale of survival in "The Pack" (1977). A remote island resort transforms into a battleground as man's best friend turns into his worst nightmare. Once beloved pets, abandoned by their owners in the wilderness, these dogs are now forced to fight for their survival. Driven to the brink of despair, they discover a forsaken shed, a last refuge for the abandoned. Here, they unite to form 'the pack', a vengeful coalition born from abandonment and the instinct to survive. Their first victims are an unsuspecting old man and a boy, prey to the pack's newly refined hunting instincts. But the bloodshed does not end there. The serene tranquillity of the resort is pierced by the echoes of their feral wrath as they set their sights on the remaining vacationers. Caught in the crosshairs is a family trying to enjoy a peaceful retreat. Their journey quickly morphs into a desperate fight for survival, their idyllic escape now a haunting maze of terror. Alongside them is a marine biologist, played by the seasoned action star Joe Don Baker. He finds himself thrust into the chilling dilemma of dealing with these canine predators. As the dogs' killer instincts are unleashed, the dwindling group must stand against their fury and survive the onslaught. "The Pack" weaves a horrifying tale of abandonment and survival, where the lines between man and beast blur, and the hunt becomes a terrifying game of life and death. This is a horror movie that will make you question your every step when you next venture into the wilderness.
