The Odd Couple (1968)

In the midst of a personal crisis, Felix Ungar (Jack Lemmon), left adrift by his wife, finds himself flirting with the abyss of despair. On the brink of suicide, he is pulled back by the unwavering hand of his friend, Oscar Madison (Walter Matthau). Oscar, with an open heart and a chaotic home, offers Felix sanctuary, a place to heal until he finds his footing again. Yet, these two friends are as different as day and night. Oscar is a vivacious spirit, a man who thrives in his own disarray, while Felix is a reserved homebody, a man whose life orbits around order and cleanliness.
