First Man (2018)

NASA test pilot Neil Armstrong is a private, contained man who is devastated by the loss of his 2-year-old daughter after she develops a brain tumor. Soon after, he is accepted in NASA's ambitious Project Gemini and moves to Houston with his wife and son. The danger of his work is highlighted by several accidents in which his colleagues are killed, and as Armstrong moves closer to the launch of his own mission that aims to put the first man on the moon, his distance from his family grows.
