The Mummy (1999)

This classic horror movie follows English librarian Evelyn Carnahan as she starts up an archaeological expedition in the city of Hamunaptra. After saving American adventurer Rick O’Connell’s life, the two band together along with Evelyn’s brother Jonathan to dig up ancient artifacts. But when a competing group of explorers unleashes a centuries-old curse that has been laid on the long-ded High Priest Imhotep, the mummy awakens. Will Evelyn, Rick, and Jonathan be able to stop the curse?
