Plot

In the shadowy recesses of a cemetery outside Rome, an ancient urn, its surface etched with cryptic runes, is unearthed. As archaeology intern Sarah Mandy playfully pulls back the shroud of mystery surrounding this 19th-century relic, she unwittingly triggers the resurrection of Mater Lacrimarum, the Mother of Tears and the last of the three dark witches. As the urn's seal is shattered, Rome is plunged into a nightmarish reality, where death, chaos, and darkness reign supreme. The city, once a symbol of civilization and grandeur, morphs into an urban labyrinth of terror, becoming a breeding ground for heinous acts of violence. Robberies, rapes, and murders skyrocket, casting an ominous pall over the city. A parade of enigmatic, sinister women, drawn from every corner of the globe, descend upon the city, their eyes gleaming with malevolent intent. Beneath the city's terrifying transformation, Sarah discovers she possesses her own supernatural abilities, a glimmer of hope amidst the anarchy. But can she, a lone art student, stand against the tide of malevolent psychos and demons in service of the Mother of Tears? Or will she be swept away in the sulphurous curse drowning the ancient city? As the last bastion against the return of witches and the impending reign of Mater Lacrimarum, Sarah is thrust into a desperate battle for survival, her courage and cunning the only weapons against the impending doom. Will she be able to prevent Rome's second fall, or will the city crumble under the weight of its own sins, succumbing to the merciless rule of the Mother of Tears? The fate of Rome hangs in the balance, teetering precariously on the brink of eternal darkness.
