In the soulful city of New Orleans, Jake Tilton is an ordinary man caught up in the extraordinary. Working in the transportation business alongside his loyal friends Anthony "Tony" Cobb and Catfish, life takes an unexpected turn when their supervisor Gillespie is dismissed by Kevin, their manager and Jake's romantic rival. One fateful night, amidst the haze of a local bar, Gillespie entrusts Jake with a magical artifact—a monkey's paw reputed to grant its owner three wishes. At first, Jake dismisses the tale as pure whimsy. However, a casual wish for a luxurious car parked outside the bar soon turns into an uncanny reality, igniting a spark of curiosity—and dread—in Jake's heart. His life spirals into chaos when a tragic accident claims Cobb's life, and a desperate second wish brings his friend back from the dead. The resurrection, however, presents a horrifying twist: Cobb returns as a soulless being, consumed by an insatiable thirst for his own wish to be granted. Cobb's desperation takes a sinister turn as he pressures Jake to use the final wish to reconcile him with his estranged son. When Jake disposes of the macabre talisman, Cobb's frustration transforms into a murderous rage, targeting everyone linked to Jake. Now, Jake must navigate this deadly labyrinth, using his wits to save his loved ones and outsmart his undead friend. What was once a mystical gift has now become a terrifying curse, and Jake is left to face the consequences of his wishes in this thrilling tale of desire, regret, and the supernatural.
