Plot

In the heart of Nazareth thrives a gifted carpenter, Jesus, whose talent extends beyond his craft, touching lives with his divine wisdom. However, he leaves behind his trade and his familiar life, choosing instead to wander the vast landscapes as a preacher and healer, driven by the word of God. His enigmatic aura and profound teachings draw an eclectic group of followers, each seeking their own salvation in his presence. Judas Iscariot, a man fueled by dreams of a violent uprising against the oppressive Roman Empire, perceives Jesus as the torchbearer of this revolution, a liberator of his fellow Jews. Then there's Mary Magdalene, a tortured soul haunted by chilling hallucinations, who finds a beacon of hope in Jesus, a man she believes can eradicate her torment. Simon Peter, a disgruntled fisherman embittered by unjust taxation and the corruption of the money collectors, sees in Jesus a symbol of faith amidst the chaos. Among these disciples is Matthew, a tax collector whose conscience is tarnished by the stench of corruption. In Jesus, he sees a path to redemption, a chance to wash away his sins. However, as Jesus' teachings ripple across the land, he becomes a figure of concern for monarch Herod Antipas and the High Priest, Caiaphas. As Jesus navigates the winding streets of Jerusalem, his destiny ultimately rests in the hands of Pontius Pilate, the Roman governor of Judea.
