Once a ruthless legionnaire turned hardened mercenary, Maxx finds himself on the precipice of death following a disastrous operation in the treacherous terrains of South America. Miraculously, he is salvaged from the jaws of death, nursed back to life, and reborn with a newfound perspective on existence. Maxx seeks refuge in the peaceful embrace of a church community, attempting to live harmoniously within the boundaries of his revised ethos. However, tranquility proves fleeting as figures from his past - mercenaries he once stood alongside - resurface, dragging him back into the world he so desperately tried to escape. His demons, once locked away, now stand before him, demanding confrontation. The violent specter of his past returns, disrupting his path to redemption. Torn between his new life and his old, Maxx becomes the embodiment of vengeance, wielding the deadly skills he once traded, in a battle against the very darkness he once embodied.
