The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning (2008)

Ariel is the princess of Atlantica, but the young mermaid doesn't feel like royalty thanks to a decree made by her father, King Triton. The king has declared that all music shall be banished, but Ariel lashes out and seeks out her own way by discovering a secret and illegal music club that exists underneath the king's nose. Ariel will need to keep her secret safe from her father, but she'll have a more challenging opponent in the form of her diligent and highly competent nanny. But why did King Triton ban magic in the first place, and how can Ariel bring it back?
