Plot

In a world where the law is often a charade, high-end escort Gabrielle Michelle masterminds her own apprehension, weaving a dangerous web of blackmail against her illustrious clientele. Her list is a ticking time bomb, filled with the names of esteemed lawyers, admired judges, and even the State Governor. As this list enters the court as evidence, presiding Judge Richard Miller is thrust into an ethical whirlwind. He must make a choice - expose the list, tarnishing the reputations of friends and colleagues, or suppress the secrets, letting guilt fester. No matter what he decides, someone will pay the price, and there are those ready to risk it all to remain anonymous. The plot thickens as a horrific murder catapults the situation into a deadly game. The stakes rise as Miller finds himself under threat, and Gabrielle becomes the target of a brutal attack. When the order comes to halt the investigation, one defiant detective, with Gabrielle's aid, chooses to fight against the tide. To unmask a killer, they must tread the dangerous path of becoming the prey. The List (2000) is a thrilling exploration of morality, power, and the high stakes of keeping deadly secrets. With every twist and turn, viewers are drawn deeper into a world where the line between right and wrong is blurred, and survival is the ultimate victory.
