Deliverance (1972)

Lewis Medlock and his friends are from the city, but their vacation to north Georgia's pristine and largely untouched Cahulawassee River Valley is a way to disconnect and get in touch with nature. But their lack of skills quickly leaves them stranded in the middle of the wild with few skills, tools, or resources to escape the situation they're caught in. The local wildlife, rough waters, and vicious weather make this stretch of wilderness a death trap, but they'll also have to contend with psychotic locals who see these visitors from the city as prey and playthings.
