Plot

In the breathtaking isolation of Peninsula Valdes' National Park in Chubut, Argentina, Beto, a solitary ranger and nature aficionado, finds peace amongst the orcas, seals, and sea lions that populate the sea. His tranquility is disrupted with the arrival of Lola, a desperate Spanish mother from Madrid, and her 11-year-old autistic son, Tristán. Having glimpsed Beto in a whale documentary, Lola seeks his aid in developing a therapy for Tristán, hoping to break through the wall of isolation autism has built around her son. Initially hesitant, Beto eventually acquiesces, guiding Tristán on a daring sea voyage to meet the orcas - an act that defies the park's stringent regulations. The majestic creatures ignite a spark in Tristán, stirring emotions that had lain dormant. As Tristán's emotional world begins to unfurl, Beto faces his own tribulations. His employer, convinced that the orcas are deadly predators, threatens to terminate his employment. Simultaneously, Lola grapples with a pressing family issue back in Spain and an emerging bond with Beto, whose feelings for her are growing. The Lighthouse of the Orcas offers a captivating journey of hope, emotional awakening, and unexpected love set against a backdrop of natural beauty and the powerful allure of the wild orcas.
