Plot

In the serene coastal haven of Antonio Island, off the rugged shores of Oregon, an eerie sense of anticipation fills the air as the townsfolk prepare to commemorate the centenary of their founding fathers - Castle, Wayne, Williams, and Malone. The festive atmosphere is shared by Nick Castle, a descendant of the original quartet and the owner of a thriving fishing charter company, who navigates the waters with his vessel, the Seagrass. The return of his girlfriend Elizabeth Williams from New York marks the beginning of a series of unsettling occurrences, including a string of chilling deaths and the emergence of an ominous fog. A slip in Nick's boathouse plunges Elizabeth into the icy depths of the sea, where she stumbles upon a centuries-old journal penned by Patrick Malone, one of the original founders. The journal unveils a horrific tale of deception and betrayal from 1871, involving a man named Blake. Blake, who sought refuge for his leper colony, was tricked into selling half the island to the four founders. Trapped aboard their clipper ship, the Elizabeth Dane, Blake and his tormented followers were robbed, trapped in the vessel, and burned alive, their screams swallowed by the raging sea. As the fog thickens, the town is consumed by a growing terror, haunted by the spectral echoes of ancient mariners who fell victim to the same merciless waters. The once tranquil seaside village is now stained crimson with the revenge of the past's monstrous crimes. A century later, the vengeful spirits of Blake and his ill-fated crew rise from their watery tomb, their wrath directed at the descendants of the four men. A heinous act committed in the shadows of history has now awakened a malevolent force lurking within the fog. As the centenary celebrations draw nearer, the residents must face the horrifying truth that their town's foundation is steeped in blood and treachery, and their ancestors' sins have returned to exact a chilling retribution.
