Plot

In the throes of pre-wedding excitement, bride-to-be Kathleen, along with her four vivacious bridesmaids Sophia, Jessica, Beth, and Amber, embark on a thrilling trip to the exotic landscapes of Mexico. Their goal? One last exhilarating "hoorah" before Kathleen's impending nuptials. After an intoxicating night of revelry, Sophia, beguiled by Rob, a charming American tourist, detaches herself from the group, leaving the remaining quartet to explore the rustic beauty of the Mexican countryside. Their scenic adventure, however, takes a terrifying turn when they are ruthlessly robbed and deserted in the unforgiving wilderness. As darkness descends, battered and exhausted, the girls stumble upon a long-abandoned resort. Seeing it as their only sanctuary, they decide to wait out the night within its eerie walls. But as they step over its threshold, a terrifying, unspoken evil begins to stir, gradually consuming the resort and its unexpected inhabitants. Back in the vibrant town, Sophia, filled with growing anxiety for her absent friends, joins forces with Rob, tracing their footsteps into the scenic wilderness. As they unravel the unsettling path their friends took, Sophia and Rob are drawn towards the ominous resort. Unaware of the malevolent force that has taken hold of the place, they venture inside, desperate to rescue their friends. The Last Resort is a chilling tale of a joyful bachelorette weekend turned nightmare, where the echoes of unspeakable atrocities linger within the haunted walls of a deserted Mexican resort. The girls must fight the darkness that has ensnared them, or risk being eternally trapped in its sinister grip.
