Plot

The Last of Robin Hood is a captivating tale, steeped in reality, chronicling the life of Beverly Aadland, a starry-eyed teen who became the last love of the iconic Errol Flynn, Hollywood's quintessential swashbuckler. In the glitz and glamour of 1957's Warner Brothers studios, Beverly, a youthful 15 posing as an 18-year-old with a falsified birth certificate, stumbles upon the erstwhile silver screen heartthrob. Their relationship, initially bumpy, blossoms under the star-struck gaze of Beverly's mother Florence, who willingly morphs into an unconventional third wheel. Their whirlwind affair sweeps them from the glimmering streets of L.A. to the bustling cityscape of New York, the wilds of Africa, and finally to the throbbing heart of revolutionary Cuba. Here Flynn, ever the adventurer, throws himself into the fray, producing a pro-Castro propaganda film featuring Beverly. However, their fantastical journey meets a tragic end in the city of Vancouver, where Flynn breathes his last in Beverly's arms, igniting a media frenzy. As Florence basks in the scandalous limelight she had always craved, Beverly teeters on the brink of sanity. The Last of Robin Hood is a compelling, yet darkly humorous narrative about the intoxicating allure of fame and the devastating cost it demands.
