In the chilling embrace of October 1941, "The Last Frontier" unfurls the valorous tale of Podolsk cadets making their brave stand at the gates of Moscow. Aided by the stalwarts of the Soviet 43rd Army, they're tasked with the Sisyphean endeavor of stemming the relentless torrent of the German advance until the arrival of reinforcements. Their numbers are pitiful against the formidable German onslaught, yet they stand fast, their youthful hearts pulsating with courage and sacrifice. For almost two grueling weeks, they engage in a fierce dance of death and defiance, stalling the mightier German forces in their tracks towards Moscow. Their battlefield is not just a canvas of war, but also a crucible of camaraderie, maturity, and love. A force of approximately 3,500 cadets and their commanders form the final bulwark of defense, the last frontier outside Moscow.
