Harry Brown (2009)

Harry Brown is an elderly ex-serviceman who lives in a part of London that is full of dangerous gangs. His wife is dying in the hospital and he can’t get there in time because he is afraid to walk in his neighborhood. After her death, his friend tells Harry the friend is being harassed by local gang members, and he is afraid for his life. Harry wants to help him but his friend is killed before he could. Harry goes to the police, but since his friend carried a weapon for protection, the gang members can just claim self-defense in court. Harry decides to take justice into his own hands.
