In the bustling city of Amsterdam, Rem's family spirals into a living nightmare, their life stained by his father's alcohol abuse and consequent dismissal from Heineken's multinational brewery. Amid this chaos, Rem, portrayed by Reinout Scholten van Aschat, stumbles upon a nefarious plot conceived by his intimidating coworker, Cor, played by Gijs Naber. In this dramatized rendition of the infamous 1983 Heineken kidnapping, the pair, along with two eccentric accomplices, weave a daring plan to kidnap the beer mogul, Alfred Heineken, vividly brought to life by Rutger Hauer.
