The Skeleton Key (2005)

When her steady job falls through, Caroline takes a position as a hospice nurse, caring for a bedridden old man in the Louisiana bayou. His wife, Violet, has very strict instructions regarding his care--and the plantation home itself, which is eerily large for two people. After a few days, Caroline begins to suspect that the situation is not as innocuous as it appears. When she delves into the local folklore in an attempt to learn what's really going on, she realizes that some stories might be better left untold.
