Plot

After a painful divorce, Jane Hardy, a resilient schoolteacher, seeks solace in the solitary summer refuge bequeathed to her by her late aunt. Unbeknownst to her, this quaint house, nestled in a small, tight-knit town, harbors a chilling past steeped in witchcraft, casting a sinister shadow that the locals have never forgotten. Upon her arrival, Jane is greeted not by the warm embrace of the townsfolk, but by their inexplicable hostility, a silent protest against the house's eerie history and her familial ties to it. The undercurrents of dread grow stronger when she becomes the target of a series of supernatural disturbances, primarily featuring an ominous black hearse and its chilling driver who seem to be haunting her every step. As she grapples with the terrifying events and questions her sanity, Jane finds an ally in a charismatic young man, who offers her some comfort amidst the creeping dread. But as their relationship deepens, she can't shake the haunting question - could this seemingly kind-hearted man be the eerie driver terrorizing her, or is she simply a puppet in a larger, more sinister game? In "The Hearse", Jane's summer of healing morphs into a chilling fight for sanity and survival, where the lines between reality and dark magic blur, creating an atmosphere as unnerving as it is captivating.
