Plot

In an eerily plausible future, the omnipotent market reigns supreme, its power amplified by the masterminds of marketing. The mantra of this new world order is simple: the consumer is king. Those who dare to envision worth beyond the marketplace are swiftly branded as "enemies of the consumer", insurgents, and "partisan" adversaries that the state is duty-bound to eliminate. At this crossroads, we meet Jack, seemingly harmonious with the media conglomerates. After all, it was his ingenious marketing strategies that solidified the unprecedented trade of carnal pleasures for amplified purchasing prowess. But beneath his polished exterior, could he be entwined with the frail, pitiful resistance movement? Does his heart beat for Cecile, his co-worker, or is she merely a piece on his strategic chessboard? Then there's the enigmatic "girl from Monday." Are these so-called immigrants from the celestial system "Monday" clandestinely aiding the partisans? As the threads of this dystopian tapestry unravel, the viewer is left questioning alliances, motives, and the very fabric of this future society. The Girl from Monday is a mesmerizing journey into a world where commerce has swallowed humanity, leaving us to question: what is our true currency?
