In the scorched remnants of a future world, decimated by nuclear warfare and stripped to a desolate desert, a crafty scavenger known as a "Zone Tripper" unearths a relic of the past – a robotic head. This technological vestige, remnants of a bygone era, swiftly captures the interest of Moses "Mo" Baxter, a hardened marine fresh from an off-world tour of duty. Struck by the robotic relic, Mo purchases it as an extraordinary Christmas gift for his artist girlfriend, Jill Grakowski. Jill, an avant-garde sculptor, eagerly incorporates the robotic wreckage into her latest creation. However, their lives spiral into a deadly nightmare when the discarded robot, far from being an inert piece of scrap, springs to life. Its identity? A MARK 13, a military-grade cyborg, abandoned due to a fatal design flaw that morphed it into a relentless killing machine. Upon discovering the robot's true nature, Alvy, a local junk dealer, alerts Mo of the impending danger.
