As the 168th birthday of the notorious Fu Manchu (Peter Sellers) unfolds, an unfortunate mishap with his cherished age-reversing elixir vitae casts a shadow over the festivities. In a frantic quest to concoct a fresh batch, Fu dispatches his minions to collect the vital ingredients, beginning with the Star of Leningrad diamond, purloined from a Soviet showcase in Washington, D.C. Dispatched across the Atlantic, F.B.I. Agents Joe Capone (Sid Caesar) and Pete Williams (Steve Franken) consult with Fu expert, Sir Dennis Nayland Smith (Peter Sellers), who's nestled in the heart of England. Nayland foresees a fiendish plot; he believes the cunning Fu might seize King George V (Rene Aranda) and Queen Mary (Grace Coyle), leveraging their release for the coveted George V diamond. In a daring move, Scotland Yard enlists the services of Alice Rage (Dame Helen Mirren), a doppelgänger for the Queen. However, the plan goes awry when Fu kidnaps the "decoy" Queen. Unexpectedly, Rage grows fond of the malevolent Fu, finding herself drawn into his diabolical pursuit of the George V diamond. As the plot thickens, viewers are left teetering on the edge of suspense, wondering how this fiendish game of cat and mouse will play out.
