Plot

The tumultuous ups and downs of legendary hair metal band Mötley Crüe are recounted in all of their excess and abuse, glory and death. The four men who make up the band are united only in their defiance of norms, their broken backgrounds, and their tendency to pursue decadence at any cost. Their early days are desperate and scrambling as they work up and down the notorious Sunset Strip. But as the band ascends to international fame, they begin to struggle with a far more dangerous threat to their lives and their livelihoods: themselves. Rivalry and addition threatens to tear the band apart.
