Sisters Abby and Rebecca Powell, estranged since a childhood trauma tore them apart, reunite after more than a decade to fulfill their mother's last wish - scattering her ashes at a remote, tranquil lake. As they embark on this healing journey, an eerie presence lurks in the neighboring woods, its whispers impossible to ignore. An enigmatic object, untouched by human hands, calls out to them from the shadows, its secrets begging to be unraveled. Plunged into a world of nightmares, Abby is haunted by visions of an extraterrestrial entity, its reality too palpable to dismiss as mere dreams. Unbeknownst to them, this strange object is far from benign - it is a device with a chilling agenda, too dreadful to conceive. As past and present collide in a maelstrom of revelations, the sisters' freshly mended bond is put to the test.
