In the stark and sterile environment of Mars, a curious system of child-rearing has evolved. Female Martian infants are nurtured by emotionless robots, while their male counterparts are relegated to a desolate junkyard under the unwavering rule of the iron-hearted Supervisor. This alien society, in their relentless pursuit of efficiency, has turned its gaze upon Earth, seeing in the tender bond between young Milo and his devoted mother, the perfect model for instructing their robotic caregivers. Milo, a boy with a heart as fiery as his hair, navigates the turbulent waters of childhood under the loving yet firm guidance of his mother. However, their path is beset with obstacles, not least of which is the formidable Supervisor, who is bent on preventing Milo's mission. In this galactic adventure that explores the depths of maternal love and the resilience of the human spirit, Milo and his unlikely allies must outwit, outplay, and outlast the Martian regime to bring his mother back to Earth.
