Plot

A mysterious, white globe-like UFO descends into a secluded California canyon, catching the attention of the military and scientists alike. With the object's proximity to an air base, the Air Force quickly assigns brusque Colonel Matthews and the enigmatic physicist, Dr. Karl Sorenson, to the perplexing case. The two men, as different as night and day, set up an investigative hub at a nearby mountain lodge, owned by the stoic Kathy Grant, a woman trying to care for her crippled son, Ken. The UFO, seemingly impenetrable and just large enough to house a single entity, becomes the epicenter of their investigation. Before long, a semi-transparent being, known as The Cosmic Man, begins to materialize around town. This enigmatic stranger seems to possess the ability to appear and disappear at will, stirring both wonder and apprehension among the townsfolk. While Sorenson views The Cosmic Man as a benign explorer, merely observing Earth and its inhabitants, Colonel Matthews sees potential danger...or a lucrative military advantage. The Cosmic Man, however, has a different perspective. In a riveting encounter with the scientists and military personnel, he urges them to re-evaluate their attitudes, imploring them to embrace co-existence with others in the universe. Yet, not all are ready to accept this otherworldly plea. As tensions mount, the fate of the town, and perhaps the planet, hangs in the balance. Will fear and suspicion triumph, or will humanity rise to the call of universal harmony? The answer lies with the enigmatic visitor from beyond the stars - The Cosmic Man.
