The Fly (1986)

Seth Brundle is a scientist working on a teleportation device. He meets a journalist, Ronnie, and offers her exclusivity to cover the story. The two fall in love. However, driven to perfect his invention, Seth teleports himself without realizing that there is a fly in the device with him. Ronnie becomes alarmed as Seth begins to change, first insisting that the teleporter has given him some kind of superhuman ability. However, it soon becomes apparent that his DNA has fused with that of the fly, and it is unclear whether the man or insect will prevail.

The Fly is a horror movie featuring Jeff Goldblum.
