Walking Tall (2004)

Chris Vaughn returns from fighting for his country only to find that his town has gone to hell. While the place he grew up was never perfect, it's hit a decline since the closure of the factory which was once the main source of income for the town. Knowing that no one else will do it, Chris decides to become sheriff and puts his skills as a special forces soldier. His old rival Jay Hamilton runs the local casino and has his hands in any number of illicit operations, and he won't take kindly to Vaughn trying to exert the law.
