Plot

In the quiet, picturesque town of Cohasset, Massachusetts, 2009 marked a year of unfathomable horror. Collin Mason, a seemingly ordinary 17-year-old high school senior, plunged the community into darkness when he committed a brutal act - the cold-blooded murder of three classmates. The horror didn't end there, as Mason's chilling crimes were filmed and unleashed onto the world through the digital underbelly of bit torrent sites. For three harrowing days, the world bore witness to the callous executions of three innocent teenagers. In a desperate attempt to reclaim their peace and dignity, the victims' parents fought to erase these horrifying images from the online world, while the town sought to bury its tragedy in silence. Yet, the sinister footage, now known infamously as The Cohasset Snuff Film, continued to circulate through forbidden channels, its ghostly presence continuing to haunt the town. The film's macabre reputation has lived on, a grim reminder of a past that Cohasset would rather forget, but its impact continues to reverberate through the town, leaving its mark on the psyche of its residents.
