The Guest (2014)

The Petersons have lost their eldest son, Caleb. He was a soldier in Afghanistan, so when a man named David shows up and says he was a sergeant and Caleb's best friend, the family embraces him and invites him to stay with them. At first, David feels like the big brother they've lost, defending Luke against school bullies and charming Anna's friends. However, Anna becomes suspicious about David, and what she learns when she starts to investigate suggests they may all be in great danger.
