The Christmas Spirit (2013) tells the compelling tale of Charlotte Hart, a seasoned journalist who, while home for the holidays, finds herself caught in the web of a pending real estate development threatening to upend the serenity of her quaint hometown. The offer from the real estate magnate sends ripples of unrest through the community, prompting Charlotte, ever the skeptic, to seek out the truth.
En route to confront the developer, fate deals Charlotte a cruel blow as she's involved in a devastating car accident, plunging her into a coma. Yet, her spirit refuses to be confined, awakening in an ethereal realm where she crosses paths with another spirit—the very developer whose scheme she intended to expose. Unbeknownst to her, he too was a casualty of the same accident and now shares her spectral existence.
With the clock ticking down to the town's vote on the controversial development, Charlotte finds herself in an extraordinary race against time. She must convince the developer to abandon his avaricious plan and sway the town's opinion, a daunting task given her invisible and inaudible state. The fate of her beloved town hangs in the balance, as Charlotte grapples with her ethereal existence, striving to make her voice heard.
