Plot

In the gloomy shadows of Cyrus West's mansion, a gathering of anxious relatives eagerly await the demise of the wealthy patriarch, their minds teeming with visions of inheritance. As per Cyrus's eccentric stipulation, his will is to be unveiled two decades post his departure from the mortal world. On the destined day, the mansion buzzes with anticipation as the potential heirs assemble. As the will unfurls, it emerges that Annabelle West, the sole remaining bearer of the West name, is the chosen heiress. There's a twist, however; her inheritance hinges on her sanity. Should she be deemed mentally unstable, the wealth, along with a cluster of precious diamonds, will pass to a successor, their identity concealed within a sealed envelope. Before Mr. Crosby, the family attorney, can disclose the alternate beneficiary to Annabelle, he inexplicably vanishes. Thus, begins a series of baffling incidents, each one seemingly pushing Annabelle closer to the edge of insanity. The mansion walls echo with whispers of suspicion, as the air thickens with an unnerving sense of dread. The future of the West fortune hangs in the balance, shrouded in a chilling veil of uncertainty.
