Plot

In the dawn of the 9th century, a band of nomadic performers master the art of creating an illusion of death, staging phony hangings that chill the spine. Their journey takes an eerie turn when they cross paths with the enigmatic Count Drago. Following a heated dispute, their jester is dismissed, his shoes filled by Eric, an ex-officer with a mysterious past. An old woman they encounter prophesizes a grim fate, whispering tales of death associated with their upcoming destination. A chilling encounter with a crow - seemingly alive yet devoid of life - further fuels their dread. The Castle of Drago looms ahead, its towering silhouette casting long shadows of foreboding. Upon entering, they are greeted by an uncanny sight - a room teeming with what appears to be taxidermied birds, each frozen in a moment of lifelike grace. The unsettling Count Drago finally makes his entrance, adding another layer of suspense to their already ominous surroundings. This is where the tale truly begins, in the Castle of the Living Dead.
