Plot

Tom, a hardened 28-year-old ensnared by the criminal underbelly of his father's ruthless real estate empire, teeters on the precipice of a life-altering decision. He navigates the murky waters of his existence, a curious blend of brutality and tender concern for his aging father. A fortuitous encounter, however, unveils a path that leads him back to his mother's legacy – the piano. Driven by an intuitive hunch that this might be his last chance to reclaim his life, he embarks on a journey to transform himself into a concert pianist. His guide on this soulful expedition is a Chinese piano maestro, recently relocated to France, who communicates with him in the universal language of music, her French remaining an unmastered melody. As Tom strives to attune his life to a higher pitch, he finds himself yearning for the sweet symphony of genuine love. He attempts to win the heart of his best friend's wife, but his fervor only succeeds in pushing her away. Just as he's beginning to find his rhythm, the haunting echoes of his tainted past rise to the surface, threatening to disrupt his newfound harmony...
