Plot

In the tranquil yet chilling wilderness of the Norwegian woods, Leo, an experienced crime-scene cleaner, is grappling with the aftermath of a death. He's accompanied by Elvis, his freshly hired assistant who is yet to acclimate with the stark realities of their profession. Their mundane task takes an unexpected turn when Elvis stumbles upon a hidden, subterranean sanctuary, revealing a resident as enigmatic as her dwelling. Thale, a creature with an ethereal beauty and human-like appearance, resides in this secluded basement. Her voice is a haunting melody, her songs filling the silence as words evade her. A tape found in the vicinity hints at a darker reality - Thale's life marred by captivity and cruel experiments at the hands of her captor. Intrigued yet concerned, Leo and Elvis find themselves drawn into Thale's silent world. Their attempt to comprehend her existence, however, doesn't go unnoticed. A group of relentless paramilitary soldiers, led by a dogged commander, descends upon them, their motives as cryptic as their quarry. The question lingers - what is Thale's true nature, and what fate awaits her in the hands of those relentlessly pursuing her? "Thale" is a chilling exploration of the unknown, weaving a complex narrative that blurs the line between human and mythical, innocence and horror, reality and the supernatural. As Leo and Elvis face their own survival, they must also grapple with the enigma that is Thale and the dark shadows trailing her.
